Let me condole with the American people on the death of so many men, women and children caused by the terrific assault on September 11, 2001. Let these candles symbolically burn for them and give hope to all the people who have lost them.
Nothing worse could have happened and those pictures can never be forgotten, but I'm sure the American people are able to overcome this nightmare.
